The Gant Ferris Wheel from Janod is a cool wooden puzzle game. The object is to take turns removing 1, 2 or 3 characters from the wheel: the winner is the player who leaves just one passenger on board. It's a bit like noughts-and-crosses, in that it's all about strategy, so it's good for slightly older kids and is great for developing their numeracy and ability to plan head - and their turn-taking skills too.
